The Round Bastard Cut File is great for smoothing rough welds in metalwork. It’s also suitable for carving and enlarging holes in woodwork. Its coarse, bastard cut teeth generate rapid material removal and leave a rougher finish compared to second cut files.
The Flat Bastard Cut File is suitable for shaping and smoothing flat and external curved surfaces in metalwork and woodwork. It also features bastard cut teeth to remove material at a faster rate compared to second cut files and leave a rougher finish.
Each File is made from high-quality tempered carbon steel for long-lasting sharpness. Their black oxide coating is resistant to rust and friction to maximise file life.
